Flight plan upload fails (Mavic 2 Pro)

Post by trigojo » Sat Oct 13, 2018 7:43 am

We are currently investigating the use of drone harmony with the new DJI Mavic2 Pro.
However, we are not able upload the flight plan to the drone due to an timeout error.

We use the newest firmware for the drone, RC and app.
During the test we also rebooted all devices.

Any idea what the reason might be?
Any experiences so far with the Mavic 2 Pro?

Many thanks for your help.

Hi Jochen,
We didn't exterience this issues with our MP2 during tests. It could be that the issue relates to parameters that are specific to your mission and that the DJI library behaviours is different for MP2, it would be helpful if you could send the mission to us using the "Export State" feature from the menu by attaching to email and sending to support@droneharmony.com.
Thank you

I have the same problem.
I manage to start the copter and let it float a few meters above me.
Only then will I upload the mission and it will be executed.

We reproduced the issue (it happens after latest MP2 firmware update), we will try to find a workaround and publish an app update in the coming days.

Just a quick message to tell you that today I had the same issue with my Mavic Pro 2. I tried everything I could think off (reboot, battery switch, start with dji go, etc) but I wasnt able to make my drone fly.
I was lucky that it was only a test, but I think you need to find a solution because I can’t imagine what Would had happen if it was with a client.

Thank you

We released an update (version 1.7.1) that fixes this issue, now the launch should work also with latest DJI firmware for Mavic 2.
