Multi shot per waypoint not working

Post by Baldie » Thu Jan 31, 2019 7:54 pm

Did a couple flights with manual WPs, every WP had 2 shots with 15 degrees angle seperation sideways. Camera pointed -50 degree downward angle in flight direction.

Only one shot per WP were taken. I expected two shots with a slight seperation.

Tried this with camera pointed straight down with the same result.

Drone: Mavic pro.
Phone Google pixel
All apps updated.

That said: extremely good app, very impressed.

Thank you for your feedback. The multi-shot mode only works in waypoint-stop&shoot recording mode (selectable during launch dialog, and a DJI imposed limitation). Did you try your mission in this recording mode?

That being said, we should warn the user if his mission contains multi-shoot waypoints and he chooses a different image shooting mode than stop&shoot. Forwarded to Dev team.

Best regards,
Martin

Thanks for the reply!
I did not try stop and shoot. Now that I know I can mitigate by making waypoints close together with different angles.

Yes, but notice that this only works in a limited way as well. The reason is that DJI imposes a minimum (and maximum) distance between adjacent waypoints in automated waypoint missions! If I recall correctly it is as follows:

The two adjacent waypoints distance must be larger than the 0.5 meter in space.
