Web UI for Flight Planning

Post by OzoneVibe » Tue Jun 05, 2018 8:06 pm

Hi

What are the plans for a web UI for flight planning?

Only having a phone makes this quite tricky.

Thanks!

HI OzoneVibe,

We initially want to basically replicate the planning functionality you see today to a web based UI, while considering the luxury of having a bigger screen, mouse etc.
In a second step we will look into adding some planning functionalities that harnesses the power of a desktop machine (more complex plans, visualization etc.). And for the users that would like their share flight plans, we will also look at adding cloud services.

In the meantime I'd recommend you to invest in a android tablet in order to have a bit bigger screen surface to work with.

Best,
Martin

You're not familiar with living on a tight pension, obviously.

What's the timescale on a web ui being available?

As a startup co-founder not having a real salary for two years I may have a feeling about this.

We shoot for implementing it this year.

Found it, a cookie setting was not correct. Should work now.

Perhaps - but that was your choice. Unemployment for 3 years followed by a pension that's one third of expectations for the last three - and future ... no choice. ;)

Soon would be appreciated … and provide strengthened alternative to "the opposition". ;)
