Do you see a pop-up window asking you with which application you want to connect your DJI drone with when you connect your USB cable? If not, it is likely that you have another application (e.g. DJI go 4) set as default application for opening the connect to your DJI drone. In this case you should remove this default assignment: go to Android System Settings -> Apps -> DJI Go 4, remove default assignments.

This is a very very important point! It should be placed also at the beginning of the manual.

Agreed. I'm adding a post to the tutorial section on the general topic of how to successfully connect the drone. Will add this important point there as well. With the next release the application will point to the tutorial forum pages. We intend to host there all knowledge, guidelines from now on. Work in progress, we know we have to do better in this area.
