Flight plan after battry change

Post by Gizmo » Sun Jun 03, 2018 1:48 am

On Mavic Pro and doing a top down flight plan which requires more than one battery, Mavic won't return to where it left off before RTH for battery change. It goes back to the start of the run of that section so is cosumming half the battery to get back to where it finished off and double up on heaps of photos.
This happens on third or fourth battery even when saying continue on app after replacing battery.
A top down map that only required 3 batteries took 6 batteries to finally complete.

HI Gizmo,

Thank you for reporting this bug. We are aware of this and already have a fix which will be released with the next update ( expected to be released in the next one to two weeks). Sorry for the inconvenience, when we tested it originally we only tested one resume.

Best regards,
Martin

Offtopic: Did Mavic Pro took sharp images? Did you have any issues with the focus?

There are some mavic focus issues. Thats why we added for the drones supporting manual focus the option to chose manual focus during the launch dialog.

Usually what leads to bad focus when choosing to use the auto focus is, that at start the camera sees some things in close proximity (close to the ground). The auto focus adjust to these things very closely and later on the auto focus of DJI does not work properly.

Two options to remedy the situation:
1. Start your mavic from a location where the camera is not obstructed by vegetation or anything like that.
2. Chose manual focus during launch. Once in the air with the usual flight distance, pause the mission, go to camera settings and adjust the camera settings to your taste (including focus). Once done resume the mission.
